BuyReadyis responsible for your data (the "data controller"). Reply to any email from us.

The tools save what you type (your income, savings, the price you're looking at and so on) in your own browser, so they remember it next time.

They also add those numbers to the page address, which is what lets you bookmark or share a link. Anyone you send that link to can see the numbers in it. When a page loads, its address reaches our hosting provider and can appear briefly in its logs. We remove the numbers before anything is counted in our analytics.

Clear your browser's data for this site and they're gone. If you have an account, Settings also has a reset.

We store your email address and your saved plan (your numbers, choices and ticked steps) so it follows you across devices. If you sign in with Google, Google tells us your name and email address.

We use this only to run your account. The legal basis is that you asked us to provide it (a contract).

We store your email address, where you're up to (your stage, whether you're buying alone or with someone, and whether you use a Lifetime ISA), whether you asked for tips, and which form you used.

We use it to email you a link back to your plan. If you tick the box, we also send two short tips over the following week. We get a copy of each signup by email so we can see it worked.

The legal basis for the plan email is that you asked for it. For tips, it's your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email.

We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics. It doesn't use cookies. Instead it works out a visitor code from each request, which Vercel discards after 24 hours, and we strip everything after the "?" from page addresses first. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in knowing which pages help people.

We use your browser's storage to remember your numbers and plan, and a sign-in cookie if you have an account. They're needed for the features you use, so we don't ask first. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Only the companies that run parts of the site for us:

• Vercel hosts the site and counts page views
• Supabase stores accounts, saved plans and our email list
• Resend sends our emails
• Google handles sign-in, only if you choose to sign in with Google

They act on our instructions. Some are based in, or process data in, the US and other countries outside the UK. Each explains in its privacy policy how it protects data sent from the UK.

We never sell your data, and we don't share it with lenders, brokers or advertisers.

• Numbers and plan in your browser: until you clear them.
• Your account and saved plan: until you ask us to delete them.
• Your email for your plan: until you unsubscribe. After that we keep your address marked as unsubscribed so we never email you again. Ask and we'll delete it completely.

You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it. Reply to any email from us.
